Description
MR385E Single-phase asynchronous motor Educational Equipment Smart Grid Training Equipment

I. Introduction
Single-phase capacitor motor is a type of motor powered by 220V single-phase AC current.
The single-phase capacitor motor separates the single-phase alternating current from the other alternating current with a phase difference of 90 degrees through the capacitor phase shift function, obtains the two-phase alternating current and sends them into two windings respectively. Its working principle and process are as follows:

Two-phase currents with a 90° electrical angle difference are applied to the stator windings → a rotating magnetic field is formed on the stator → the rotor cuts the magnetic field lines to generate an induced current → the induced current generates a rotating magnetic field → the rotor magnetic field interacts with the stator magnetic field → the rotor rotates.
The motor is equipped with a centrifugal switch. When the motor is stationary, the switch is closed.

When the motor is powered, the start winding and the start capacitor are connected in parallel in the circuit to start the motor at low speed. When the motor speed reaches three-quarters of the normal speed, The centrifugal switch bounces under the force, the start winding exits, the running winding works, and the motor start is completed
It has the advantages of small size, light weight, smooth start-up, reliable operation and low price.
